Overall Feel: Resort Energy vs Intimacy
Four Seasons feels like a true destination resort. The property is expansive, with multiple pools, two beaches, golf, racquet sports, water activities, cultural programming and a large family program. It works well for travelers who like having many options without leaving the resort.
St. Regis feels more contained. The smaller scale makes it easier to move around on foot, and the overall atmosphere is calmer. If you prefer a resort where the emphasis is more on service, relaxation and privacy than on constant activity, this is where St. Regis has the advantage.

Rooms, Suites & Villas
At the standard room level, I would currently give St. Regis the edge. Its renovated accommodations feel newer, and all room categories include St. Regis Butler Service. Beachfront villas add private pools, kitchens and additional living space.
Four Seasons rooms are also spacious. Its casitas offer 645 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, while its plunge-pool suites are significantly larger. Where Four Seasons really separates itself is in its villa and residence inventory, including multi-bedroom homes with kitchens and private pools.
That makes the choice fairly straightforward: St. Regis for a fresher standard-room experience; Four Seasons when you need significant residential space.
Beach & Pools
Four Seasons has the stronger overall water setup. The resort officially offers three pools, two secluded beaches and a lazy river with a swim-up bar. The Nuna infinity pool is the main oceanfront pool, while Tamai is adults-only.
The two beaches also give guests more choice. One may work better for swimming or kayaking, while another may be better for surf lessons and other water activities depending on conditions.
St. Regis also has a beachfront setting and multiple pools, including dedicated family and adults-only areas. It is a very pleasant setup, but it does not offer the same variety of pool and beach environments as Four Seasons.

Families
This is one of the clearest differences between the two resorts.
Four Seasons has a formal Kids For All Seasons program, a game room, babysitting and a dedicated teen center called The Container. Add the lazy river, beaches, sports and water activities, and there is simply more infrastructure for families with children across a wider age range.
